Three ways to run Kavvo

Kavvo v1 (version 1.0.0) is in preview ahead of its public open-source release. Try the hosted preview instantly, run the full thing on your own Windows PC, or read every line of the source.

Web app — live preview

The fastest way in. A Kavvo instance is running right now on our preview server: open it in any modern browser, connect your provider key, and start talking. Nothing to install; your key and session live in that instance, under the preview's terms.

Open Kavvo

Windows PC bundle

The complete Kavvo for your own machine — chat, voice, browser, memory and skills, with your keys stored locally and nothing phoning home. The bundle ships with the public v1 release; during the preview it is available on request — write to us and we'll send the current build.

Source code

Kavvo is open source under the MIT License. The repository holds the app, its documentation, and the release history. The public v1 release lands there first — star it to catch the drop, and feel free to read how the agent handles your keys before you ever paste one.

What Kavvo needs from you

An API key

Kavvo is bring-your-own-key. Any supported model provider's key works; Kavvo fetches that provider's live model list the moment you connect it. Usage is billed by your provider, to you, at their rates.

A modest machine

The agent itself is light — the heavy lifting happens at your model provider. A typical Windows PC or a small cloud server (2 cores, a few GB of RAM) runs Kavvo comfortably, including its browser.

Five minutes

Open Kavvo, paste your key, pick a model or choose Auto, and say hello. Memory, skills and automations build themselves from there as you work — there is nothing else to configure up front.

A note on the preview

The live instance linked above is a preview of v1 while the public release is prepared. Treat it as a test drive: great for exploring Kavvo and its skills, not yet the place for irreplaceable work. Your own install — PC bundle or source — is the version that stays entirely under your control. Release notes for the preview are on the blog.
